Why is it that sometimes our habits are stronger than our will to change, and even the best intentions go wrong?
This post-new year’s workshop is designed to strip away what you thought you knew about your yoga practice and intention setting, focusing on a few simple tools that will help to clarify and accept where you are physically and mentally, as well as re-align your intentions with daily reality to help manifest positive change in your life, every day.

About the Teachers

Maggie teaches Jivamukti and Vinyasa Yoga and has been practicing since her teens; she aims to share the joy and peace of mind and body that yoga gives her. Coming from a background in engineering she loves the creative freedom she experiences in yoga, and is also keen to understand yoga’s scientific background and how it can help us. She encourages students to be similarly forever curious, question and try a variety of ways to practice and continue in the direction where they find growth and benefit.
In her open level classes you can expect  a dynamic and grounding sequence, an inspiring soundtrack, hands on assists and a focus on developing stability alongside mobility; her teaching has been influenced by her yoga therapy studies, and her recent personal experience of becoming a mother. Maggie is also passionate about wildlife and runs safari yoga retreats in Southern Africa. (www.maggiejamesyoga.com)

 

Lizzie is an advanced certified Jivamukti teacher, Rolfer and craniosacral therapist. Having recently relocated to Surrey, her teaching is inspired by her love of nature, ancient philosophical texts, and the cultivation of ‘right’ action, including correct alignment and energetics of asana. Getting There

Arundel has a direct service to London Victoria every half hour; it is approximately 2 hours from London by car; please check google maps and National Rail for specific times and locations.

If you are coming by train, Brooklands Barn is a short taxi ride from the station.
